It’s been a pretty stressful week for me to be honest! Even though it was meant to be a holiday week, I got ill. Very bad!

But being ill has meant that I’ve spent a lot of time indoors, reading my books and thinking a few things over. Luckily, I was back at my home town of Cheltenham to visit my mother so it wasn’t too lonely.

A couple of things:

- I think it would be a good thing to start recording my book thoughts here! For this week, I wrapped up Chilling Effect (by Valerie Valdes):

Personally, I found it very light and fluffy. It did get a few laughs out of me, but it didn’t really prompt much deep thinking about the plot or the characters. However, the ending hooked me enough to want to read the sequel! (If I can find it in the bookstores that is!). I’ve gone ahead and sourced my next book: Hyperion, by Dan Simmons. I’ll let you know how it reads!

- I’ve had a few new thoughts about my next photo project! I’ve always felt that ‘Fursuit Photography’ felt pretty lacking for the longest time, which I’ve wanted to ‘fix’ so to say. So, my next big idea is to rent out a studio down in London and arrange a full day of photography with some of my suiter friends! Perhaps something to do with ballgowns…
