About Me
Born in the Philippines
A freelance photographer from the Philippines, I graduated from the University of Warwick with a Mbio (Hons) in Biological Science. I travel often to Asian and North American locations, engaging with various groups and subcultures, encouraging me to start documenting the lives around me. I started with a simple camera phone while living in Japan, before quickly branching out into dedicated digital and film formats in pursuit of my own photographic style.
My body of work is divided between street and portrait photography, driven by my interest in both transient, uncontrolled moments and studio-based, planned work. This approach is deeply influenced by photographers and directors such as Ernst Haas, Wes Anderson and James Barnor, bringing in a more fantastical feeling to my work.
My go-to gear is my Fujifilm X-T3 and my Fujifilm XF 56mm f1.2 R lens. I particularly enjoy using older, 'vintage' and manual focus style lenses.
